Most of my students are English Language Learners. Learning to read and write can be a difficult task; never mind the fact that they have to do it in a second language. I have found that my students learn best with visuals and hands on activities. I would love to use magnetic boards and tiles to create a fun, hands on way for my students to work on their sounds, learn to read, and begin to write.
These boards and tiles will provide my students the opportunity to manually manipulate the sounds in words, help my students learn to decode and blend individual sounds in words, and overall help them with their reading fluency and writing.
