Growing plants hydroponically was something that my students really got into, especially when we started changing different variables. Our science kits are shared in the district, so we had to send on our hydroponic setup to the next class. I was hoping to add a permanent installation, using these hydroponics kits, that we could continue to experiment with. This can relate to our social studies units that explore supply and demand and how people effect their environments. It also keeps the topic of healthy eating going in our classroom.
