Our Pre-K day includes at least an hour of center time which allows opportunities for my students to learn through free exploration and play. Interest centers include topics such as science, math, literacy and writing.
High-Quality, hands on manipulatives provide many opportunities for my students to learn through free exploration.
In the Math center, students can count, sort, and graph with manipulatives that I am able to create to go along with each letter or theme. While visiting the literacy center, students can read poems, chants, and vocabulary words that I am able to print in color on durable paper to last. Having the ability to laminate my materials will ensure that they hold up to the many little hands that will engage with them everyday!
