We need a variety of objects including magnetic blocks, wooden planks, velcro, foam balls craft sticks and more, for our STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) bins to be actively engaged while I am teaching small groups. The materials that I am requesting for my students will be used during our center time. In each plastic box there will be different objects and a picture card that gives the students ideas what to build. When they have constructed the object, they will then write about it!
This will allow all students to be engaged while I am teaching small groups.
This will make a difference because my students will be actively engaged constructing something and then writing about it. I know each student will be proud to create an object and then be able to write about it.
