This semester, theatre students will prepare for the largest theatre production our school has ever experienced, as we present The Lion King, Jr. this spring! Everything from designing and constructing colorful African Savannah set pieces to creating lion, zebra and hyena costumes (oh MY!), students will have a hand in the design of all elements of our production.
With over 100 student actors to dress, our theatre design students will learn how to sew this semester! Students will learn how to thread sewing machines, measure and mark fabric, create costumes using patterns and how to care for and preserve costumes.
