I'm requesting Wobble Chairs, and Bouncy Bands for the students chairs. This different type of seating will provide a learning environment that my students need to succeed. Research shows that flexible classrooms empower student choice, increase student engagement, and improves student participation. Within a flexible seating classrooms students are given a choice as to what kind of learning space works best for them, and helps them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. I want our classroom environment to be conducive to open collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. By allowing students to choose a seat that is best for their learning style, where they can do their best listening and best work, is teaching students to be critical thinkers and completely engaged in their education. Keeping students safe, responsible, and respectful is our mission!
