Because they come from lower income households, my students don't have easy access to the technology and devices that many of us take for granted. Many of them are only able to use computers and the internet during school hours. We currently have just two older computers to share among students. That needs to change. I am asking for twenty-five Kindle Fire Tablets.
These tablets will allow my students to access valuable information that will help them expand their knowledge and improve their math and science skills. They'll also become more familiar and comfortable using technology, and they can bring these new skills with them when they begin middle school next year
