Flexible seating will give my students the opportunity to work while their sensory needs are being met. Students will no longer have to stop working and leave the area so they can "calm' their bodies. With a flexible seating classroom, my students will be able to twirl, sway, and stand their way to success! Students will be able to continue working while they twirl and sway in their wobble chairs. They can work at standing desks and swing their feet, instead of standing over desks that are too small. Students can sit in the sensory room and use the lap desks to complete work when classroom is too overwhelming.

About my class
