These items will help my students to stay engaged while they are learning how to read and write. Children at this age (kindergarten) are very busy and need a lot of engaging ways to learn and apply concepts. These materials will help me to do this during small group and whole group. These items are colorful and fun and I believe that they will really help my students in areas where they struggle. My students love to manipulate items in their hands and these tools with help us do just that. We need a large variety of things to keep children at this age engaged so that they can fully succeed. The magnetic rockets will be so fun for the children to use together as a team to help them learn beginning sounds. I already have the ABC simple locks and the children LOVE them, so I can't wait to see them using it with simple words. They get so excited when they can unlock the lock and this will give them motivation to sound out the words. The alphabet stamps will be a great addition to my small group table where we can easily build words together. We can't wait to utilize these items in our classroom.
