At the start of the school year, my students were reading within a range of PrePrimer to beginning of third grade. They have worked very hard this year and are now reading within a range of 1st to 5th grade reading levels. Several students worked with me in a small group on a Magic Treehouse Book and fell in love! They couldn't wait to get their hands on another book. They ended up sharing their love for the book with several classmates. What started as an introduction to a new type of text to three students sparked a burning flame! Now, my entire class searches for these books within our school's library. Many times I have had to go to the public library and check out as many as I could so that my students would have them to read. Reading is the gift that keeps on giving. It's the one thing that, as a teacher, I desire for my students to love and find enjoyment in. Please help me to provid
