These instruments would mean the world to my students. They are very active and love hands-on experiences. Currently, we have a very small selection of non-pitched instruments and we have no instruments that are pitched. It's so important to have a mix of both to be able to create music.
They would benefit so much from being able to create their own music with instruments. Right now in music class we spend a lot of time listening to music and talking about it instead of playing it. By having xylophones, my students would be able to learn so many more songs and have a more hands-on musical experience.
