My students love to work independently. With the two requested iPads and Apple Pencils in the classroom they will get unique opportunities to explore and create in ways not available before.
The eager learners in my classroom will use the iPads to work independently at centers every day. The work will be part of creating presentations, projects, books to be published. They can take pictures, record videos, document their work the email home and share with other classrooms.
The iPads will also allow my students to conduct research in the class, and to find their own answers to their questions. I would like the students to use these tools to become independent learners, who are discovering their love for learning and exploring. Using these tools they will become fluent in 21st century skills and gain the tools for success as they continue their educational careers and look to their futures.
