I work at a low income, Title I elementary school in South Austin. The vast majority of my students come from families that live in trailer homes or apartments and work their hardest to barely get by. In my fifth grade classroom, I have a variety of students including students with special needs, ADHD, learning disabilities and behavioral challenges. It is my goal to provide flexible seating in my classroom in order to give each child the tools they need to be successful inside the classroom so that they can in turn be successful in life.
