Students will utilize Chromebooks for district approved websites, such as Renaissance Learning, Classworks, ABCYa, and Brain Pop. This will enable students to be introduced to new skills and practice skills taught in class to mastery level.
Using technology will provide an exciting way for students to learn new skills and practice previously taught skills. Students are eager to use computers and it makes learning more fun.
Many of these students have very limited opportunities to use technology at home and Chronebooks will provide them with experiences in learning in a different way. This will help bring these students up to the level of others, who readily have technology available.
