Students will be immersed in learning through interactive, problem solving opportunities. Students will solve riddles, puzzles, and use clues to be able to "escape the room." This opportunity allows students to work as a team while applying reading, math, science, and social studies curriculum. The resources from this project include resettable locks, hidden message pens, UV flashlights to read hidden messages that will help solve the clues, and hidden safes containing important details. All of these resources can be used for multiple escape room experiences. In addition, students will become crime scene investigators that trace the clues to find the suspect at large. These thought provoking experiences will expand and deepen their knowledge. Donations to this project will allow my students to think critically and deepen their knowledge while applying all subject area skills. My students need the additional challenges beyond the grade level curriculum to help them maintain a competitive edge throughout their education.
