No counseling library is complete without books to address career development and social and emotional development. Individual books will support work with individual students and classroom guidance lessons that are provided on a biweekly basis to over 400 students to support their academic, social emotional, and career development. As a former middle school counselor, I want to prepare my 4th and 5th grade girls to successfully navigate the social dilemmas that plague the tween and teen years. Sets of books will serve as a fun way to share and connect about real life problems and how to solve them. I know the middle parents and school counselors will thank you later!
