I've had many students ask for a wider selection of books and I want to use this project to bring our most requested texts to the classroom. Specifically, I'm hoping to add popular series books to our library, such as Harry Potter and the Series of Unfortunate Events. These are the books that spark a lifelong love of reading while simultaneously increasing a student's ability to grapple with more complicated texts down the road!
My kids deserve access to books that they love, no matter what their economic background. School is oftentimes where they can find exciting texts that they are enthusiastic about reading. Please help make independent reading time joyful for these kids!
Thank you for donating and helping us grow as readers!
