As a teacher of special needs English language learners in South Central Los Angeles, I bear the responsibility of guiding some of the most at-risk, but driven students in all of Los Angeles County. Though my students may lack material resources and many are performing below grade level, they all strive to improve their skills every day.
Your donation is a direct way to improve my students' lives, support their learning environment, and encourage them to become lifelong learners.
Your contribution will allow me to purchase the array of resources needed to meet the challenges of a diverse group of students, many of whom learn differently and require an individualized approach to access the curriculum. Many of these resources are currently coming out of my own personal budget, so even the smallest contributions make a huge difference.
