Anatomy and physiology is the newest of the courses of the four science that I teach. I have been teaching A&P for two years now. The classroom has three different books about A&P along with a small human skeleton and a skull. My students use their own body as a reference. Many of my labs are done with materials I can do without a model. Having the human torso model helps students learn about the body cavities along with the organs that are found in those cavities right in the first chapter. When the class focuses on the integumentary system, the skin model shows the complexity of the human skin. The kit for exploring the senses will give the students a lab that is more exploratory than what has been used in the past. Many of my students want to go into the medical field. Having extra supplies will help students succeed in their high school A&P classes. I want them to be total prepared for the rigor and be able accomplish their goals as they go through college.
