The fairy tales STEM kits will be used during literacy and math rotations. Students will work in small groups to create and problem solve based on the chosen fairy tale. My students will be able to incorporate an understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as literacy concepts as they read the story and help the different fairy tale characters solve problems. The fairy tale STEM kits will provide my students with the opportunity to be in the center of the learning experience, making connections and seeing things through different lenses. My project will encourage my students to challenge themselves and work with each other as they advance academically.

About my class
