I teach Third Grade Math and Science in an inner city public school. My 2 classes of third graders, a total of 30, are a wonderful group of diverse individuals. More that half of my students receive free breakfast and lunches at school and many come from very low socioeconomic households. My class is a glimpse into the school, as the students and families come from such diverse and culturally rich backgrounds. My goal is to create a classroom environment where they feel comfortable, safe and excited to learn. My students are hard workers and excited to learn and grow.
