Greetings! My students usually call me Mrs. B. We spend our time exploring the past three centuries of American Literature, as well as creating current publications to cherish in the centuries to come. I have a background in Journalism and a love for living. The ebb and flow of teaching is what inspires me - the constant changing of perspectives, exchanging of knowledge, and sharing of stories. You never live the same day twice and that keeps life interesting.
I have revived the student-produced news program from the late 90s, "Rayne, Alive!" This program utilizes so many skills that benefit our students: creativity, time management, goal setting, teamwork, computer knowledge, etc. The product created exudes the pride of our Wolf Pack and has helped to unify our school.
I'll leave you with my motto:
"Learn to love. Love to Learn."
