Welcome! I am a 4th grade Reading/ Social Studies teacher in a "high need" school in the inner city of Chicago. My students come from a poverty stricken area with extremely high crime. My students love to come to school just to get away from the nonsense that comes with the neighborhood. It is a safe place for them to not only learn but to be around students and adults that care about them. As a school we do our best to challenge our students with a rigorous curriculum. With the budget cut that CPS hit us with our funds are very limited. I want to continue giving my students what they deserve when it comes to education. We are excited about your support!
