Many of our students are in diapers and require multiple changes every day. Since our students are ages 4 and up, the traditional changing table is to small for them. This results on them being changed on a mat on the floor. This is hard on both students and staff and does not give students the dignity they deserve.
This changing table is bigger and more sturdy then tables designed for infants. It also has stairs that will allow students to climb up themselves, giving them some independence in their toileting routine. It is a safer and more hygenic option for my students to meet their needs.
