My students need the art supplies to develop their understanding of economics. Most of my students live in a poverty home. Through the use of the Economic readers, students will be introduced to the concept of needs and wants. Children need resources to build 3D masterpieces. I will use the Content and Literacy in Social Studies book to begin my lesson on Economics. Students will use the Space-Saver Mobile Art Center easel to finger paint and will use the Pentel pastels to draw their 3D art.
Students will use the Peel & Stick Foam Cubes, Decorate & Design Paper Squares, Lakeshore dough, and Crinkle-Cut Scissors to build their 3D economic masterpiece. The Easy-Clean Craft Trays, Super-Safe Craft Tape Center, and Store-It-All Craft Containers are to help keep supplies available for student use. Students will display their creations for their peers and parents.
