My students need headphones to allow them to access curriculum in the digital age. The classroom sets of headphones will insure that all 25 students will have a pair to use, as they listen to books and read along with text that is tailored to their individual reading levels. The 5 extra pairs will accommodate any additional students that join our class later in the year.
Online learning experiences in all subject areas now occupy an important supplemental role in the lives of today's students. Students will use the headphones while accessing a variety of online learning websites. Our math and science curricula both allow for students to access content via the computer. The headphones will allow each student to hear information connected to things such as digital math games and science videos. They could even hear recordings produced by themselves and other students!
