This year my students are pushing themselves to become stronger readers and writers. In my classroom we are in need of high interest text. My students are high readers and need more challenging texts to meet their interest than what is currently on the shelves. These new books will keep the students motivated to continue their growth in reading, because they are high interest and quality text. With the new books and series my students will be excited for reading, and be able to share their reading excitement with others in our classroom. The books will be used daily for independent reading and also with our classroom book clubs. The titles will lead to in depth discussions and stretch the students thinking.
