In order to give each of them the opportunity to explore magnetism independently or interdependently, I am requesting scientific, hands-on magnetic manipulatives for my first grade students. We will explore how magnets attract and repel various objects, how they push and pull other objects, and how magnets have different strengths,
With more interactive supplies, I can enhance my group lessons by giving each of them a magnet to explore with, as well as enhance my science centers for more exploration for the kids.
These resources are horseshoe, bar, donut and wand magnets. I truly believe that all these resources will support their recognition of magnetism, how it works and so much more.
