My AP Biology students will be able to share data on the big screen with this valuable tool! As our school has moved to create a "college-going" culture the demand for my AP Biology course has increased from 17 students 3 years ago, to 110 students this year. All of my students are current 11 and 12 graders. Eighty six percent of the students in my high school are socio-economically disadvantaged. My students amaze me in that they refuse to allow their circumstances to affect their motivation to succeed in high school and move on to college. The choice they make to challenge themselves with college level courses like AP Biology is evidence of their commitment to preparing themselves for the challenges of college that lie ahead.
