Movable lap desks, cushion seating/workspaces and a variety of seating will allow my students to move about the classroom to work comfortably and most important, successfully! Allowing for choice in seating allows students freedom, comfort, ownership, and a sense of community. The ability to quickly move to seat for the choice of independent or group works spaces allows for success in a way that has little disruption to the class and work time. The workshop format in our curriculum allows for partner/group work and discussion. These seats will allow for greater ability to move about the class and partner up in successful spaces around the room.

About my class
