My classroom already has a technology center.. We are just missing the technology part! The students will get to practice daily lessons, work on independent reading, practice their phonics and letter recognition as well as play with educational apps. They will rotate daily so every single student will be using these iPads. The children will be so excited to be using the iPads, they won't even notice they are working. We can also use our iPads for our listening center, where students can listen to an audio book being read to them, while they follow along with the words. The apps that are available on the iPad are wonderful, and my students would really benefit from them. They will also keep this teacher happy, because her students will be working quietly in their center.
