My students love science because it helps them see how the world works. These materials, including electricity kits, optics materials, and energy materials, will allow students to kinesthetically experience many conceptually difficult science concepts.
My students will be able to build circuits and experience energy transfer in person. They will be able to convert mechanical energy to electrical energy by cranking a generator to power a light bulb by hand and will see properties of light through tools such as polarizing film and a prism. This learning will be helped by a class set of calculators, leading to a deeper focus on physical science.
