My students are currently working on answering an essential question regarding challenges encountered within a culture, specifically when new ideas and new members are introduced.
By creating their unique cultural quilt piece, students will showcase what they value about their culture, while unifying the classroom community. They will use the sharpies, markers, colored pencils and tag board to create these displays showing pride in their culture. The mesh panel display will be used to showcase the unity quilts at our 42nd annual International Dinner. The chart tablets will be used for small group collaborative work. We are very excited about out International Dinner! These will be kept as a permanent display to highlight the diversity within our school community!
