At our school we use Kagan Cooperative Learning to help our students with their social skills, individual accountability, equal participation, and simultaneous interaction. We believe that Cooperative Learning benefits all of our students, from the shiest to the most outgoing.
We are transitioning from desks to tables to better serve this purpose.
Changing from desks to tables brings the extra need for chair sacks to hold the supplies that each student currently has in their desk.
The seat sacks will also maximize our instruction time because the students will not have to navigate throughout the classroom searching for the supplies they once had in their desks.
