Third graders can be extra wiggly! Some of them like to lean back in their chairs which is so dangerous. My students have so much energy and I want them to be able to use that energy in a positive way.
Allowing them to bounce on an exercise ball during instruction and work time will get those wiggles out while helping them focus. Students will learn to use the materials respectively and make good choices when they are using the exercise balls. They will be able to use these during small group instruction, independent work time, or whole-group instructional time.
