Having a set of iPads will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. The iPads will be used in math and reading centers to help close academic gaps scholars may have. I will also be able to download apps for various math practice skills for a math center. This would allow me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students. Another way they will be used is by recording stories for my scholars who are beginning readers. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.

About my class
