One way my students will be able to use Chromebooks is through websites like iReady. They will get to see interactive simulation of gravitational force and orbits. Understanding orbits and where planets are in relation to the earth and sun can be difficult concept to grasp without technology.
Learning the parts of an animal and plant cell will come to life for my students as they use Spongelab.
They will have access to detailed graphics, interactive games, and animations to understand the parts of a plant and animal cell.
Students will also use the Chromebooks to track their mastery of standards using online tools like MobyMax.
My goal is to raise enough money to have a class set of Chromebooks. This will allow me to make virtual science personal and accessible for each student.
