As my students experience the wonders of sand and water, connects are being made. Those connections equal experiences that include problem-solving skills, math concepts, physical development, social and emotional development, language development, and creative development. These key areas of development shape how children will forever learn. The children are not only playing, they are building a foundation for their understanding and growth for life. As they use their hands to explore the different mediums that will be added to the sand/water table, connections between what is happening and what could happen will be enhanced. Experimentation as the water splashes, the sand is flows, the beads squish, the rice slides, the bubbles float, and the stimulation begins! With the generous donation of a large sand/water table, our student population will be afforded the opportunity to build and expand on their sensory worlds. Exploration is only a lid away...

About my class
