Funding of this project will make it possible for EVERY student in my classroom to have access to an electronic device. Currently, my grade level of 10 teachers share one Chromebook cart. This year, we adopted an English Language Program that focuses on students doing many of the readings and assignments online. Often, students need to work after the class period to finish class assignments because we had to share the Chromebooks with 2 other classes and also within our own class of 32 students.
The use of Chromebooks is the key to my students' success to online curriculum. Technology helps them research, create multimedia presentation, do their homework on Google Docs, and more.
My students are motivated learners and eager to learn—they just need the tools that will help them achieve their potential.
