One of the biggest problems with inner city baseball is that most of the kids who play do not have the same amount of experience as kids in the suburbs. A lot of this is due to the fact that kids that grow up in an inner city move more often than kids in the suburbs. All of the equipment listed here is an attempt to help the kids bridge the experience gap against our competition.
We need equipment - pitching machine, pitch target and return, practice baseball bucket and baseball hitting stick - to get better at baseball! All the equipment in this project is there to help the players to get better at hitting. Because they tend to move so often, they have not had consistent coaching to help them succeed. Also, we do not have the necessary equipment that other teams have to help them get better.
