As a first year teacher, I came into a classroom that was supplied with very little books for my students to read. In my class, we do daily five everyday, where my students do read to self and read to someone. My students are having to read the same books over and over again because of the lack of books in my classroom library. My students are very passionate about reading and learning new things that they read about in their books. They are slowly loosing their passion to read due to reading the same books. I would like to bring that passion back with a classroom leveled library. Having the leveled library would allow for my students to read a book that is on their level with the opportunity to grow to a new level and see that growth. This leveled library wold also help my students to reach their individual academic reading goals.
