I am a Kindergarten and First Grade Special Education Teacher. I have a wonderful resource room to see students in small groups or individually when required. I also work with the general education teachers to provide services in the classroom. Also, I help the teachers to meet the needs of the individual students. I have the pleasure of working with a great staff and amazing students. My caseload and grade level changes each year.
If you walk into my classroom, you will see a variety of work areas. I have tables at different heights. The room has a variety of seating options that include typical chairs, Hoki stools, Wobble chairs, and wooden stools. The students get to choose which chair works for them. When working with students, we may work at a table or on the floor. I have a sensory station (table without legs) where students can sit and complete learning activities.
