The use of technology is a daily activity in my classroom during math, reading, writing, and more! Unfortunately, student use of technology to enhance instruction is limited due to a lack of technology resources. This year, 25 students in my classroom share three desktops and four Chromebooks, which provides a unique challenge in today's 21st-century classroom! With the addition of 10 Amazon Fire tablets, my students will have more opportunities to explore learning through educational apps, online research, eBooks, and more! These tablets will allow opportunities for personalized instruction and support based on students’ unique needs, increase student engagement through programs like Kahoot, and help fuel their love of learning. In today’s world, opportunities to engage modern technology are vital to student success inside and outside of the classroom environment.
