The Wekiva Orchestra program has been growing and improving exponentially year over year. However, our school-owned instruments have a significant amount of wear and tear. The goal of this project is to replace the aging strings on all 5 of our string basses in order to continue providing quality instruments for our students to practice, play, and perform on. These new strings will allow us to replace the 8-year-old strings currently falling apart on the school instruments. The goal of the Wekiva Orchestra program is to provide an amazing musical experience for every student but also to create a family. Any assistance to our family would be greatly appreciated. Changing the strings on these few instruments can change the sound of the entire ensemble.
