I am a visual arts teacher in Saint Paul Public Schools at Mississippi Creative Arts. We are a public school that is dedicated to learning through arts and arts integration into the core subject areas. We are a Title One school with a high percentage of free and reduced lunch. Many of my students are recent immigrants and refugees. I strive to make all students feel safe and welcome so that they can freely and openly express their creative side.
