My students struggle to stay seated during table tasks due to their need to fidget.
These patented sensory style chairs will give my students a way to safely fidget while seated for table tasks. The seats are designed to not tip over, giving the adults in the room peace-of-mind. These seats will be used during specific task that allow my students to learn developmental skills to help prepare them for school. The majority of students with ASD require sensory/stimulation outlets to help them stay focused while attempting/completing task. Table tasks are a huge part of our day and without seated sensory, students become agitated and need more frequent breaks, taking away from valuable learning time. With the ability to safely fidget, my students can focus on the skills that help them succeed in the classroom. Also, safe flexible seating will give my students comfort in the classroom. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
