I am asking for a variety of math resources including a complete set of Early Math Instant Learning Centers, a master set of Magna-Tiles, and a complete set of Self-Checking Magnetic Math Cards.
My students will be able to use the different math manipulatives to increase their experiences so that they can master the concepts that they need before they enter kindergarten. Through the use of the different counting of different types of objects and matching them to the appropriate numerals my students will have a better understanding of number concepts.
The magnetic shapes will help in problem solving skills and it will also help in their learning of basic shapes. The games that they will use during their center time will help to enhance what they have learned in large group lessons. They will be given a chance to practice what they have learned in a more meaningful way rather than using worksheets which are not age appropriate for young children.
