Online school has presented new challenges for students while answering math problems. Normally, when we did the math, "at school" students had individual dry erase boards and dry erase markers. This made it extremely easy to gauge the learning in the class at a glance.
Providing students with their own dry erase board and markers at their homes will help enhance the learning for everyone. I'll be able to "see" their answers and the steps they've taken to get their answer. Besides, my students will tell you it's so much more fun to do math using a board and markers!
