The use of these items will help my students receive safe and appropriate sensory stimulation. Sensory boxes with different textures and weights will help calm overstimulated students with tactile needs. Engaging in exercise and balance beam activities will help work big muscles groups, help students focus and attend to surroundings. By donating to this project you will help students learn how to become calm and ready to learn, but also each student will learn how to regulate their bodies by engaging in sensory integration activities. The goal of this project is to provide teacher led activities where students learn how to regulate their sensory needs throughout the day.
