Students will use these Snap Circuit kits to build circuits and understand how circuits work. Currently my students are having to strip wire and attach the stripped wire to a battery and a light bulb. It is a very difficult process and takes away from the learning.
My students will be expected to know the difference between parallel and series circuits on their state assessment. These snap kits give them the opportunity to build both parallel and series circuits in a group setting. It will also give them the opportunity to see that completed circuits can produce something other than light (sound, fan, etc).
